A resident raising two daughters here cited flood experience, traffic, and automation of warehouse jobs in urging the council to reject the project.

The Austin Ranch developer said an industrial park at the 'front door' to the city and Nebraska Furniture Mart would hurt surrounding property values, and offered to deed-restrict his nearby land against industrial use.
